Get Tight is without a doubt one of the best places to eat in The Fan. Every time we’re there the staff is incredible, kind, and down to earth. The team in the back of house never fails to put out amazing food, with great flavor and execution, everything that comes out of the kitchen impresses. The team will go above and beyond and curate specialty/holiday menus that are to die for. Even when things are a bit behind the staff are honest, upfront and kind. The customer service this team provides is utterly unmatched. Get Tight is already my favorite place to introduce people to and will remain my first choice for a long time.
This place is awesome. People were amazing Food was the biggest best surprise ever. Who knew that out beef sandwich would be the best thing in Richmond VA! The service made the experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Pit beef sandwich is a must!!
Walking through the neon lit alley to the stage at Get Tight is like walking through a portal to the coolest spot in 1976. Great sounding venue and friendly staff make visiting this place a must. Definitely try the "Get Tight Light" house beer brewed by the local Tabol brewing. And don't pass up the draft mezcal negroni--smokey, sharp deliciousness. Even the bathroom has a disco ball; if you're looking for a good time you can't go wrong. Dust off those bell-bottoms and make your way to Get Tight.
This is a small venue. The food was good and Happy Hour was great. We drove up from the Hampton Roads area to see Shiney Ribs and they did not disappoint! I cannot say the same for the patrons.
Small but vibey restaurant with delicious sweet potato fries and interesting drink options. The chips and salsa looked extremely delicious and perfect for sharing. Friendly staff!
Some friends and I just happened to come across Get Tight Lounge when we were in the area, and we were glad we did! This is a great example of Richmond's "hidden gems!" The staff is friendly, the atmosphere inviting, and the back courtyard venue is cozy and relaxing...looks like an awesome place for live music, so we'll be back I'm sure. Didn't try the food so I can't comment on that.
I gotta say something about their Sandwiches. That’s capital S as in Super delicious. Probably the best sandwich I’ve had made for me all year, and we are in December. Full disclosure: I was hungry and ready for something tasty.
Laura is hands-down the best bartender this place has ever had. Walking in and being greeted by name makes a huge difference, but the fact that she remembers my "usual" before I even sit down is next-level service. She has completely transformed the atmosphere here. After dealing with the previous bartender’s inexcusable and racist behavior, Laura is a breath of fresh air. She is warm, genuinely welcoming, and makes sure every single person regardless of who they are feels like a regular. If you stopped coming here because of the old vibes, it’s time to come back. Laura has turned this spot into a truly inclusive and friendly neighborhood bar. High-quality service with a genuine heart!
came in, they were pretty busy, sat on the patio, our waitress was fantastic and patient. environment was great. food was absolutely amazing. 10$ BLT with a side of the best Mac and cheese ever. 10/10
I'm new in town...just moved here from Austin, TX and this place really fits. Taylor said over the phone I could bring my dogs back to the outdoor area via the side and it's really Texas back there--full stage, plenty of seating, shade or sun as you like. People are friendly, service was impecable, atmosphere laid-back, the best happy hour in all of Richmond--all day on a Monday. I got the beef sandwhich for my dogs for $10 which came w fries I could dole out at will, and I had wings. Honestly, for the music alone, I can't wait, but it was the genuine attention I received that stood out w the vibe here--you might expect a college bar, but this was more a locals scene in a good way...though how the students aren't filling in even at 3-5pm on a Monday is surprising. 5 stars w no 2nd thought, and I'll be back w my wife for music. They do acoustic stuff up front too. Really a hidden gem in Richmond.
